From time to time, insurance companies including Clear Spring may discontinue plans, reduce service areas, or make significant benefit changes. When this happens, affected beneficiaries may need to review alternative coverage options available in their area.If you receive a notice that your plan is no longer being offered or that important benefits are changing, it is a good time to review:

  • Your current doctors and specialists

  • Prescription drug coverage

  • Monthly premiums and out-of-pocket costs

  • Provider and pharmacy networks

  • Additional benefits that are important to you

Every situation is unique, and the best option depends on your healthcare needs, budget, and preferred providers.

What Should You Do If Your Colorado Medicare Plan Is Ending?

If you receive a non-renewal or termination notice from your current Medicare plan:

Step 1: Read Your Notice Carefully

Review the information provided by your current plan, including any deadlines and coverage end dates.

Step 2: Make a List

Gather:

  • Current medications

  • Preferred doctors

  • Specialists

  • Preferred pharmacy

Step 3: Review Available Options

Compare available Medicare Advantage, Prescription Drug, and Medicare Supplement options available in your ZIP code.

Step 4: Enroll Before Deadlines

Waiting until the last minute may limit your ability to avoid gaps in coverage.
